Parents are invited to James Monroe Middle School Thursday night for an informational meeting regarding some issues that may be facing their students.
The event runs from 6-7 p.m. in the cafeteria and is presented by the Albuquerque Police Department, Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office and Gang Resistance Education and Training (G.R.E.A.T.).
The meeting will cover underage vaping, alcohol use, substance abuse and the dangers of social media.
