Albuquerque Public Schools students can now audition to emcee the APS Education Board’s signature event, the Gold Bar 2023.
The annual Gold Bar event raises money to fund innovative educators during the school year.
At each yearly event, that year’s class of Selfless Seniors, some of the most community-minded students in Albuquerque Public Schools, will be honored and recognized.
The Education Board is in search of a student who is an engaging speaker who likes to entertain a crowd to represent the APS student body at this year’s Gold Bar.
The 2023 Gold Bar will take place April 14 at Sandia Resort & Casino.
Auditions for finalists will be held live on Feb. 23. Interested students will need to upload a sample video before Feb. 10.
