Backyard Chicken Keeping
Saturday, January 28, 3:00 – 4:30 p.m.
Join Urban 4-H Agent Brittany Sonntag to find out how to keep backyard chickens. Brittany will discuss a variety of possible chicken breeds to choose from, and will teach how to predator-proof a chicken coop. She will also provide a hands-on demonstration with her own chicken on how to safely clip wings to prevent chickens from flying the coop. Registration required.
