Stripes Biscuits and Burritos, formerly known as Troops, will be getting a new makeover over the next week and will reopen on Monday, April 18.
Residents hoping to get their breakfast fix inquired about it via social media, as the location usually stays open only until 2 p.m., but folks will have to wait one more week while construction is completed.
Owner Victor Sanchez said the restaurant will be getting a makeover, including a rebuilt menu.
Although the original Stripes Biscuit Co. on Gibson closed during the pandemic, Sanchez says there are now six Stripes Burrito Co. locations. Two more are in the works with talks about another ongoing.
Stripes is known for their generous donations made to military vets and the Veteran Affairs Hospital as well as their “Famous Buttermilk Fried Chicken Sandwich,” or so the sign says.
