Led by Andrew Pineda, the Eldorado High School boys golf team placed sixth out of eight teams Tuesday at the State Golf Championship at Twin Warriors Golf Club.
The Eagles finished with a two-round total of 680 shots, 61 shots behind Deming, which beat Cibola in a playoff to win the state crown.
Pineda was sixth among individuals with a two-round score of 153.
Other top performers from Eldorado were:
- Richie Reif finished 22nd with a score of 166
- Nate McKeever was 35th with a 176
- Alex Hoover finished 40th with a 185
- Aaron McWhorter was 43rd with a 197
