Albuquerque Public Schools will hold a clinic Friday to provide COVID-19 vaccinations and booster shots.
The shots will be provided to APS employees, students and their families at the Berna Facio Professional Developmental Complex starting at 11 a.m.
First and second vaccine shots and first and second boosters will be available for free for anyone who is eligible.
The CDC recommends a second booster for immunocompromised individuals and people over the age of 50 who received an initial dose at least four months ago.
Tuesday, the Food and Drug Administration approved Pfizer-BioNTech’s COVID-19 booster shot for children ages 5-11.
