Construction on Rainbow Blvd. was paused Friday when crews discovered rock in the area of the Piedras Marcadas Arroyo.
The rock will need to be removed to continue the installation of the raw water pipeline. Special equipment was brought in Friday to break up the rock. Residents may hear noise of feel vibration during the removal of the rock.
At this time, crews do not know the extent of the rock or how long it will take to break it up.
