Albuquerque Police Department homicide detectives announced Thursday that the suspect who was accused of killing his wife on Thanksgiving died while being treated at the hospital after his arrest.
Karlan Denio was charged with murdering his wife, Connie Denio, and dismembering her body at their home at 10400 Vista Del Sol NW during what has been called a “mental health crisis.” Karlan Denio suffered a self-inflicted wounds from a knife and passed away while receiving medical treatment at UNH Hospital.
