Nex+Gen Academy

Nex+GenAcademy is an Albuquerque Public Schools magnet school established in 2010. The school is located at 5323 Montgomery Blvd. NE on the Del Norte High School campus. The school’s mission is, “To create a community where learning and global citizenship are cultivated to develop future leaders.”  The current principal is David Lynch.

GreatSchools Ratings

Nex+Gen Academy has a 8/10 rating, and seven of eight reviewers give the school five stars out of five. Nex+Gen is rated as the sixth best public high school in the Albuquerque district.

The GreatSchools Summary Rating, which includes test scores (9/10), academic progress (6/10), college readiness (8/10) and equity (8/10), is 8/10 for Nex+Gen Academy.

Student enrollment

The school has 317 students in grades 9-12, a ratio of 14:1 students per teacher.
