Families are invited to spend an evening together at the ABQ BioPark Botanic Garden Friday for a picnic.
Family Picnic Night runs from 6-9 p.m. as a way to start the summer season with live music, food and fun.
Local bands The Cumberlands, Lone Piñon, MumboJumbo Jazz Band, The Porter Draw and Mondo Vibrations will perform live throughout the garden.
There will be a face-painting booth and a 25-foot climbing wall for the kids. Also, Discovery Stations will be throughout the garden and the BUGarium will display all types of insects.
Parents can pre-order a picnic dinner from Shark Reef Cafe to enjoy in the park.
Tickets are $10 per adult and $3 for kids ages 3-12. Senior tickets (Age 65+) are $5.50, and children under 2 are free. Tickets can be purchased here.
