Albuquerque Fire Rescue reported that units were sent to The Grove at Tramway Apartments Wednesday to respond to reports of smoke coming from a second-story apartment.
Twelve units and 33 firefighters were dispatched to the scene.
The fire started in and was contained to a chimney in the apartment and was extinguished in less than 20 minutes.
Four apartment units were displaced because of smoke and water damage, but no injuries to civilians or firefighters were reported. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
