All Paws Mobile Pop-Up Salon provides an assortment of services for pets of all sizes. The pet grooming service was open for business at North Domingo Baca Park on Memorial Day, where one customer was seen leaving with her dog.

“I just came over here with my big doggie Jasper. He’s a German shepherd, black lab mix, and he needs some treatment, and I haven’t gotten him to the park in a minute,” said dog owner Crystal Mayes.

Mayes said she’s been busy working on a western film in Santa Fe and hasn’t had a lot of time for her dog until now. “It’s been a good time, just busy for two weeks doing a lot of craft services and wardrobe and haven’t had time to bring my puppies to the park,” she said. “We came out here, and I thought they were having an adoption thing going on and instead it turned out to be All Paws, and they do dog and cat grooming. Real nice people. Not scared of a big dog.”

A pamphlet provided by All Paws says prices vary depending on the condition of coat and breed. A bath and brush out for extra-small to medium pets is $25-$40 and $50-$65 for large breeds. All Paws also offers haircuts, specialty cuts, de-shedding and nail trimming services. The mobile pet salon can be found at North Domingo Baca Park from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sundays and at Manzano Mesa Park from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays.

“The price is pretty affordable for not having to go and drop him off. You can be around at the park if you want,” Mayes said. “They can take your number, whatever, and call you when you’re done, but I decided to stick around because he has separation anxiety.”
