In an effort to address staff shortages, Albuquerque Public Schools is hosting a Transfer Expo and Job Fair Wednesday at Berna Facio Professional Development Center, 3315 Louisiana Blvd. NE.
The district is in need of nurses, IT techs, educational assistants, bus drivers, custodians, food service workers, maintenance workers, coaches and substitute teachers. Internal transfers are invited to attend from 10-11 a.m., while the public job fair will run from noon to 2 p.m. Attendees should bring copies of their resume and dress accordingly as jobs could be offered on the spot.
