Maurice Lacey is facing several charges related to a Friday shooting at a Walmart location. He is accused of entering the break room of the Walmart Neighborhood Market located at 4700 Cutler Ave. NE and shooting his wife, Kenisha Renee Wilson, in the back of the head, according to a press release from the Albuquerque Police Department. Witnesses said Lacey entered the break room without Wilson noticing and shot her. Another employee said she heard the gunshot and saw Lacey standing over Wilson while pointing the gun at her head. Albuquerque Police say a woman was injured when a man she knew came to the store around 1 p.m. Friday at the Walmart Neighborhood Market on Cutler NE and shot her. Police say the victim was transported to the hospital and is in critical condition. APD spokesman Gilbert Gallegos said there is no active threat as the two parties involved know each other. “This shooting has been made a serious crimes callout because of the nature of the wounds.
