The Cop on the Corner event gives residents the opportunity to attend a police field meeting and meet the officers assigned to their areas. Folks can provide information and speak up about their immediate concerns, as well as ask questions.
APD Northeast Command says these briefings serve as a way to be able to exchange information, get insights about residential concerns and address improvement where needed. The meetups also give officers a forum to give the public feedback about tips on crime prevention, safety and tools to better the community for everyone.
Cop on the Corner will start Friday, June 17 at 7:00 a.m. at the Dunkin Donuts at 4201 Wyoming Blvd. NE.
