The Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta, in conjunction with the city’s Parks & Recreation Department, is marking the event’s 50th anniversary with a special giveaway.
Couples celebrating their 50th anniversary this year can enter to win a special package of two tickets and parking pass for the Night Magic Glow Oct. 8 at the Balloon Fiesta and be honored on the launch field. There will be 50 couples honored in total.
Applicants must provide proof of a wedding license or other official documentation with the wedding date noted. Documents may be sent via email to 50anniversary@cabq.gov or delivered to the Parks & Recreation Department from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 1801 Fourth St. NW. Registration deadline is Sept. 23 with winning couples announced Tuesday, Sept. 27.
