The driver of the truck then ran a red light through Tramway while heading west on Rover and continued until he crashed into the garage, continued through the wall and into a neighboring home.
The witness said the man involved in the incident was diabetic and may have been experiencing a medical episode throughout the incident. He was transported to the University of New Mexico Hospital with life-threatening injuries and remains in critical condition.
The investigation is ongoing.
