Gas prices continue to go down across the metro, and far Northeast Heights stations are keeping step with the decrease. According to AAA data, the July 27 average price of regular unleaded fuel in Albuquerque was $3.90 a gallon. Last week the average was $4.12, and a month ago it was $4.66 a gallon. New Mexico’s average price of fuel for July 27 was $4.10, and the national average $4.30 a gallon. AAA data shows Catron County as having the highest average price of gasoline in the state at $4.53 a gallon.
• Gas at the 7-Eleven/ALON station at 7843 Tramway Blvd. was $3.80 a gallon for regular unleaded, $4.20 for mid-grade, $4.60 for premium, and $5 for a gallon of diesel. Prices for premium were more than 24 hours old, according to Google Maps.
• The price of regular unleaded at the Circle K/Phillips 66 at 6951 San Antonio Drive was $4 a gallon Wednesday, July 27. Mid-grade was $4.50 a gallon, premium $4.75, and diesel $5 a gallon.
• The price of regular unleaded at the Circle K/Shell gas station at 8101 Harper Drive went down 15 cents since last week, now at $4 a gallon. Mid-grade was $4.50, premium $4.75 and diesel $5 a gallon on July 27.
• A gallon of regular unleaded at the Circle K/Phillips 66 gas station at 5501 Alameda Blvd. decreased 30 cents since last week, now costing $4.15 a gallon. Mid-grade also decreased 30 cents, going from $4.95 to $4.65 a gallon, and premium also decreased 30 cents, now costing $5.90 a gallon. A gallon of diesel fuel was $5.40 a gallon, the same as on July 20.
• The Chevron at 5980 Alameda Blvd. was charging $4.17 for a gallon of regular, 33 cents less than last week. Mid-grade went from $4.96 to $4.45, and premium went from $5.37 to $5.04 a gallon. Prices for mid-grade were more than 24 hours old, according to Google Maps.
