Gas prices in the Duke City are about three cents cheaper than they were last week. According to AAA data, the average price of gas in Albuquerque was $3.51 around 2 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 14. Last week, on Sept. 7, the average price of regular was $3.54. Prices in Albuquerque’s far Northeast Heights were as follows at select stations on Wednesday:

  • The 7-Eleven/ALON station at 7843 Tramway Blvd. was charging $3.46 a gallon for regular unleaded, four cents less than last week. The station was charging $3.86 for mid-grade, $4.26 for premium, and $4.66 for a gallon of diesel. Prices for mid-grade and premium were more than 24 hours old, according to Google Maps.
  • The price of regular unleaded at the Circle K/Phillips 66 at 6951 San Antonio Drive was $3.55 a gallon, down three cents since last week. Mid-grade was $4.05, premium $4.35, and diesel $4.66 a gallon.
  • The price of regular unleaded at the Circle K/Shell gas station at 8101 Harper Drive also decreased three cents since last week, now at $3.55 a gallon. Mid-grade dropped to $4.05, and premium went up two cents to $4.35 a gallon. Diesel dropped four cents to $4.66 a gallon.
  • A gallon of regular unleaded at the Circle K/Phillips 66 gas station at 5501 Alameda Blvd. decreased 14 cents since last week, now at $3.60 a gallon. Mid-grade decreased from $4.24 to $4.10, and premium dropped nine cents to $4.40 a gallon. Diesel decreased four cents since last week, now at $4.66 a gallon.
  • The Chevron at 5980 Alameda Blvd. was charging $3.69 for a gallon of regular, five cents less than last week. Mid-grade went from $4.03 to $4.15 a gallon, and premium dropped 10 cents, now at $4.56 a gallon.
