Want to get paid to hike, go camping and mentor young women?

Then The Girl Scouts on New Mexico Trails is the place to go, as they are hiring for a camp counselor to explore the great outdoors.

Rancho del Chaparral, the Girl Scout camp two hours outside of Albuquerque in the Jemez Mountains, has paid and volunteer positions available for unit counselors. Responsibilities include chaperoning small groups of first- through eighth-grade students during sessions of three to five nights focused on outdoor recreation activities like hiking, archery, horseback riding, canoeing, orienteering and camping. Compensation is $285 per week with a cumulative bonus at the end of camp. All meals and sleeping accommodations provided as well.

Unit counselors are needed for sessions that run June 21-24, July 6-9, July 10-15, July 17-22 and July 24-27.
