Albuquerque Police Department officers from the Northwest and Northeast Area Commands have worked with the Organized Crime Unit on multiple holiday operations since Black Friday to fight retail crime across Albuquerque.

Their work so far has resulted in 33 arrests, some of which were felony repeat offenders, according to a release from APD sent out Thursday. The officers recovered at least $10,400 in stolen merchandise.

The recent investigations into retail crime, which remain ongoing, have yielded information regarding the narcotics trade, stolen motor vehicles and human trafficking.

Below are the individuals who were either arrested or cited:

Black Friday

  • Asael Saenz – arrested for misdemeanor shoplifting
  • Hiliario Archuleta – arrested for felony shoplifting, conspiracy, felony warrants, misdemeanor warrant
  • Lee Tobler – arrested for felony shoplifting, conspiracy, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia
  • Dominick Chory – arrested for felony shoplifting, felony warrant, resisting/evading police and concealing identity
  • Jerrill Jim – arrested for felony shoplifting, conspiracy and a felony shoplifting warrant
  • Gilbert Zuni – arrested for felony shoplifting, conspiracy, possession of a controlled substance and a misdemeanor shoplifting warrant

Nov. 26

  • Andrew Bennett – arrested for felony shoplifting, $1,000 in stolen merchandise recovered
  • James Dorrty –  felony warrant
  • Gracy Tenorio – misdemeanor warrant
  • Zainalabidin Al-Zubidi – felony warrant and one possession of a controlled substance
  • $800 in stolen merchandise recovered / dropped inside by Dorrty, Tenorio and Zainalabidin

Nov. 28

  • Jessica Hill – repeat offender arrested for felony shoplifting ($723.39) and possession of a controlled substance (fentanyl)
  • Sheri Gibson – arrested for possession of a controlled substance (fentanyl) and drug paraphernalia
  • April Trujillo – arrested for possession of a controlled substance (fentanyl)
  • John Briscoe – arrested for possession of a controlled substance (fentanyl and meth), felony warrant and misdemeanor warrant
  • Joseph Abeita – arrested for two felony warrants and one misdemeanor warrant
  • Jonathan Parker – arrested for trafficking a controlled substance

Nov. 29

  • Auto theft operation recovered two stolen vehicles and three people were detained for receiving transferring stolen vehicles

Nov. 30

  • Eleazor Perez – recovered $1,850 of stolen merchandise.
  • Mark Williams – arrested for felony warrant and two counts of possession of a controlled substance.
  • Antoinette Maestas – $106.66 recovered in stolen merchandise
  • Eight criminal trespass notifications were issued
  • Five traffic citations and a towed vehicle

Dec. 1

  • Christopher Hampton – arrested for felony shoplifting ($900)
  • Joseph Pfeifer – repeat offender arrested for misdemeanor shoplifting, two felony warrants and three misdemeanor warrants
  • Three criminal trespassing citations issued and three suspects identified in previous felony shoplifting offenses at Kohl’s

 Dec. 2

  • John Jones – misdemeanor shoplifting and felony warrant for felon in possession
  • Jared Lopez – three felony warrants
  • Conrad Rotruck – PCS (fentanyl), criminal trespass, resisting/ evading
  • Michael Utzler – PCS (meth), shoplifting ($250 or less)
  • Felipe Torres –  two felony warrants and one misdemeanor warrant
  • Tasmine Moser – charged with felony shoplifting ($1,730.57)

Dec. 7

  • Jamiesha Hampton – PCS (meth), PCS (fentanyl), misdemeanor shoplifting, misdemeanor shoplifting warrant
  • Archie Romero – trafficking controlled substance, PCS (fentanyl)
  • Princeton Crank – misdemeanor shoplifting (less than $200), resist/evade – summons
  • Christopher Faris – PCS (fentanyl), drug paraphernalia
  • Malcom Miller – urinating in public (at Transit Center)
  • Dylan Vance – cited for trespassing in an arroyo
  • Andrew Falcon – cited for urinating in public
  • Eduardo Orellana – shoplifting warrant, misdemeanor shoplifting ($320.82), resisting/evading, PCS (meth, fentanyl and methadone), drug paraphernalia
  • Adrian Espinoza – PCS (fentanyl) and misdemeanor shoplifting ($252.55)
  • Brian Kunkel – felony shoplifting ($939.88) and three misdemeanor warrants (shoplifting)
  • Najonie Mora – felony shoplifting, conspiracy to commit a fourth-degree felony and possession of drug paraphernalia
  • Rebecca Coral – felony shoplifting, conspiracy to commit a fourth-degree felony, possession of a controlled substance (fentanyl) and possession of drug paraphernalia
