La Cueva High School is accepting donated books as part of the Sandia National Laboratories and Sandia Laboratory Federal Credit Union book drive, which runs March 7-26. Drop-off times are 4:30-5:30 p.m. March 10 and March 17 at the Wilshire Entrance of the school. New or gently used English, Spanish or bilingual children’s books are being accepted at all drop-off locations.

Collection boxes can also be found at Central New Mexico SLFCU branches. Contact-free drive-up donations are being accepted March 26 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the SLFCU Cottonwood, Juan Tabo and Paseo branches.

Online monetary donations are being accepted at www.aps.edu/education-foundation/giving, and checks can be made out to the APS Education Foundation, P.O. Box 25705, Albuquerque, NM 87125. In the memo write Sandia Labs Read to Me.
