La Cueva is hosting a mandatory meeting for those interested in playing boys soccer next year.

Current eighth- through eleventh-graders interested in trying out for the team must attend a meeting at 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 27, in the La Cueva High School lecture hall. Parents or guardians need to be present as well.

Summer scrimmages are scheduled for July 25-29 by coach invite only. Invited athletes will pay $75 to participate in summer training, which begins in June. A team camp is scheduled for 9 a.m. to noon Aug. 1-5, and team tryouts begin Aug. 8-9. The first practice is scheduled for Aug. 10.
