Kids signed up for the North Domingo Baca Summer Youth Program begin their summer adventures on Monday, June 13. The program is almost full with 147 participants enrolled as of June 10, according to the play.cabq.gov website. The website was still allowing visitors to add section two of the program to their selection list, and the NDB Multigenerational Center June newsletter says kids can be added to the waitlist by speaking to the youth staff at the center.

A $20 annual membership at the multigenerational center is required to participate in the program in addition to a $30 per month program fee per child. Important youth program dates are as follows:

June 13 – First day of the Summer Youth Program.
June 14 – Get to know each other all day.
June 15 – NDB scavenger hunt from 9-10 a.m.
June 16 – Show and tell
June 17 – Father’s Day picnic/field day at NDB from 3-5:30 p.m.
June 20 – Closed for Juneteenth
June 21 – Volleyball tournament at NDB from noon to 1:30 p.m. Kona Ice will be available starting at 1 p.m.
June 22 – Water day at NDB and snow cones from noon to 3 p.m.
June 23 – Escape room at NDB
June 24 – Main Event from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Limited to 60 kids. Cost is $25 and includes pizza.
June 27 – Making tie dye.
June 28 – Basketball tournament from noon to 1:30 p.m. Kona Ice will be available at 1 p.m.
June 29 – Roller Skate City: Groups 1 and 2 from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. ($10) Groups 3 and 4 from 2-4:30 p.m. ($8) Limited to 13 per group.
June 30 – Outpost ice skating, time TBD. Price is $9.
July 1 – Cool Springs from noon to 3 p.m. Limited to 60 kids at $15 each.
