NE gas watch: Aug. 24

Average gas prices went up this week in the 87111 zip code, jumping from $3.28 to $3.79. There are still some stations as low as $3.17, but this was one of the largest spikes this summer with some stations charging 60 cents more per gallon. 

Here are a few cheaper nearby stations for this week.

• Sam’s at N. Renaissance NE is $3.17 per gallon.

• Costco at N. Renaissance NE is $3.21 per gallon.

• Murphy Express at 9700 Montgomery is $3.18 per gallon, at no change since last week.

• Speedway at 8401 Montgomery NE is at $3.79 per gallon.

• Phillips 66/Circle K at 9811 Montgomery is also at $3.79 per gallon.
