The Neighborhood Journal has expanded its boundaries.
After the initial launch of our website this spring, we have added neighborhoods to our coverage area in both the northeast and northwest quadrants of Albuquerque. We can be found at www.neighborhoodjournal.com.
Our initial launch area in the northwest includes the areas of Ventana Ranch, Ventana Ranch West and The Trails. Recent additions include Volcano Cliffs, Montecito Estates, Bond Ranches, Rancho Sereno and Las Terrazas. These areas are covered by Kevin Hendricks, who can be reached at khendricks@neighborhoodjournal.com if you have a news tip.
New neighborhoods in the northeast are North Albuquerque Acres, Vineyard Estates, Nor Este, North Domingo Baca and West La Cueva. These areas will be covered by staff writer Scott Albright and are an addition to his current neighborhoods of North Wyoming, Countrywood, Heritage Hills, Heritage East, Cherry Hills, Academy North and Quintessence. Joining him in coverage in current northeast neighborhoods is Rene Thompson in the neighborhoods of Academy Ridge East, Eisenhower Area, John B. Robert, Mountain Run, Oso Grande, Peppertree and Prospectors Ridge. News tips in these areas can be sent to rthompson@neighborhoodjournal.com.
