The average price for a gallon of gasoline in Albuquerque dropped again, going from $4.57 on June 29 to $4.46 on Wednesday, according to AAA. That is significantly below the national average, which stands at $4.63.

That trend carried over into the neighborhood as several stations in northwest Albuquerque had prices below the citywide average.

The Chevron and Sam’s Club (which requires a membership) near the Coors Bypass even dropped below $4, standing at $3.99.

Costco, which also requires a membership, went even lower, coming in at $3.88.

The Murphy Express location on Alameda was $4.29, while the Phillips 66 on Alameda was at $4.39.

The Speedway on Alameda was also at $4.30, with the Speedway location on Paradise and the location on Golf Course both at $4.35.

Smith’s on Golf Course was at $4.35.

Chevron again had the highest price in the area with the location on Paradise at $4.49.
