There was some good news at the pump in Albuquerque this week as the citywide average price for a gallon of gasoline dropped from $4.81 on June 15 to $4.72 Wednesday.

It was even better news in northwest Albuquerque as several stations were below the city average.

Costco and Sam’s Club, which both require a membership, were at $4.35.

The Speedway on Alameda was at $4.54 as was the Phillips 66 on Alameda. Murphy Express on 528 was at $4.51.

The Circle K on Unser was at $4.65, and the Smith’s on Golf Course was at $4.69.

Not all stations in the neighborhood were below the average price.

The Speedway on Golf Course and the location on Paradise were both at $4.75.

Chevron on Paradise was at $4.89, and the Smith’s on McMahon was at $4.99.
