Preschoolers ages 3-5 are invited to the Cherry Hills Library for 45 minutes of water experiments with Ms. Laura. The activity is 10:15-11 a.m. June 7 at 6901 Barstow NE.

Children must be registered and accompanied by an adult to participate. As of May 25, there were eight seats left. To register, visit abqlibrary.org/cheryhills and search for Preschool STEAM: Water Experiments in the June calendar of events.

For those unable to attend the event, Cherry Hills Library has several science books for kids including “Bubbles, Rainbows, and Worms: Science Experiments for Preschool Children” by Sam Ed Brown and the ebook “Tinkerlab: A Hands-On Guide for Little Inventors” by Rachelle Doorley.

Other resources include steampoweredfamily.com, which provides online instructions on how to conduct safe experiments with kids. One suggested experiment, Elephant Toothpaste, “is a safe, fantastic foamy science experiment using hydrogen peroxide and yeast.”
