Athletes from La Cueva High School boys and girls track teams took first place in several events at the APS Albuquerque Invitational over the weekend.

La Cueva took first place in both the girls and boys four by 200-meter relay with a time of 1:48.89 for the girls and 1:32.23 for the boys. The following La Cueva High School athletes took first place in the following events:

Mikayla Evans, triple jump
Mikayla Evans, long jump
Analisa Ibarra, 300-meter hurdles
Sima Lucero, 100-meter hurdles

Boys
Lucas Lopez, pole vault
Gabe Trujillo, triple jump
Dylan Lee, long jump
Christian Buzzard, 200-meter dash
Hunter Roswold, 100-meter dash
