A white male is wanted in the robbery of Sandia Resort & Casino Friday.

According to a release from the FBI, the man entered the casino around 9:15 p.m. and demanded money from a cashier while threatening he had a weapon. After receiving an undisclosed amount of money, he then left the building.

The release describes the man as being in his 30s. His height is estimated to be 6 feet to 6 feet, 4 inches with a weight of 180-210 pounds. The suspect was wearing a dark gray hooded sweatshirt, a blue surgical mask over a blue gaiter that covered his head, a black baseball cap, blue jeans and black tennis shoes. He also carried a dark backpack over his right shoulder.

The FBI and Sandia Police Department are asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspect, with the FBI offering a reward of up to $2,000 for information leading to an arrest and conviction in the case. Those with information on the robbery should contact the FBI at 505-889-1300 or leave a tip online at tips.fbi.gov.
