The “Shop and Rob Bandit” has struck again, apparently robbing another Albuquerque Bank Friday.

Friday’s robbery occurred at about 1 p.m. at the First Convenience Bank inside the Walmart Supercenter, 2550 Coors Blvd. NW, according to a release from the FBI. This time, however, the unidentified man wore a brown wig, women’s clothes and brown boots. The full outfit inlcudes sunglasses, a white surgical mask, a light-colored sweater, dark shirt, and black-and-white tiger-stripe pants. He also carried a black bag slung over his shoulder.

The suspect handed a demand note to a teller. The robber received an undisclosed sum of money and left the store through the west entrance.

The same individual, a 6-foot, 5-inch tall, thin Black male, is also suspected in a May 20 robbery of First Convenience Bank located inside the Walmart Supercenter at 2266 Wyoming Blvd. NE.

The FBI is offering a reward of up to $2,000 for information leading to the man’s arrest and conviction. Those with information should contact the FBI at 505-889-1300 or anonymously to the Albuquerque Metro Crime Stoppers at 505-843-STOP.
