The Volcano Vista High School soccer teams begin the state tournament Friday with a doubleheader at home.
The girls team, which finished 13-6, is seeded fourth in Class 5A and plays No. 5 Cibola at 1 p.m. The top-seeded boys team (14-1-3) will play No. 8 Organ Mountain at 3:30 p.m.
Students can be released at 12:50 p.m. if they have a pre-purchased ticket. Students are expected to report to their seventh period class after lunch and before the game.
Students are asked to park in the front of the school Friday. The back parking lot and the north parking lot will be designated for soccer spectators.
