Bernalillo County’s 2022 Summer Lunch Program returns this year after being canceled in 2020 and scaled back last year because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The 2022 program, which provides free healthy meals to children throughout the city, begins at most locations on Tuesday.

Bernalillo County is expected to provide more than 100,000 meals this summer at several locations.

For people in Northwest Albuquerque, Paradise Hills Community Center will be serving breakfast from 7:30-8:30 a.m. and will have lunch from 10:30 a.m. to noon. Paradise Hills pool will also be a serving site, with breakfast also from 7:30-8:30 a.m. and lunch from noon to 2 p.m.
