ABQ Bio Park will be holding an open house for teachers from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.

Teachers are invited to explore Discover the BioPark programs during the open house. Teachers and one guest will receive free admission to the zoo with a current school ID.

Discover the BioPark is a program of virtual, outreach and on-grounds adventures led by BioPark staff.

“We are looking forward to welcoming teachers back to the ABQ BioPark to showcase how they can incorporate Discover the BioPark into their students’ learning and what educational opportunities are available to them,” said Bethany Dunn, ABQ BioPark school and youth programs coordinator.

During the open house, BioPark staff will introduce teachers to some of the BioPark’s education ambassadors and will be able to participate in activities from education programs. BioPark education staff will also be there to answer any questions teachers may have about booking a BioPark field trip for their class.
