Hitting a bump in the road with homework doesn’t mean you have to throw down your pencil.
The Albuquerque Teachers Federation offers a homework hotline students can call to ask for assistance. The hotline connects callers to a licensed teacher who can answer questions in English or Spanish.
To get homework assistance, call the ATF Dial-A-Teacher Homework Hotline at 505-344-3571 from 5:30-8 p.m. Monday through Thursday. Students or parents can also email questions to atfdial@gmail.com.
A statement on the ATF website reads: “Using one-on-one instruction, each licensed teacher encourages students to think and persevere when working through difficult tasks and helps them understand the material they are expected to master.”
